SORRY i SHOULD KNOW ALREADY G 720

I know I should know but I do not . What is the SD card used for on G 720 ? I have put mp3s on it but how do I access them to play.It is 1GB card I have put in. Thank you for help.

The mp files should be placed into a folder named "mp3" (without the "" marks) the folder needs to be in the root of the SD card - that is the highest level on the card when viewed using Windows Explorer - the 720 will then pick up the music files and they can be played back by selecting the Music and Media/ TomTom JukeBox menu's - Mike

I have tried that (or I think I have) it just does not seem to find the card I cleared the mp3 file in internal now there is no room to put any mp3s .
