|
|
In tt5 you could "locate gps posistion" on the menu and then you would see the icon track accross the map. like the old 2d view.
In tt6, you cant do this, as soon as the gps icon goes off the edge of the screen, you have to scroll the scren with your fingers, is there any way to make it "track" like you could in previous versions of tt???
Thanks. Cornz |

I know i could do this in tt5 but just wont work on tt6.
Dont have the ipaq on me at the mo but sure its 6.030!?!?! |

seems odd, I am running on a Mio168 and usually let it just track if doing a motorway journey and dont need guidance and it always tracks me all the way on routes of 80 miles plus, cant comment on the Ipaq but would exoect the same |

I think the OP is talking about using Browse Map to find his Current Position, and then to watch his progress on the Browse Map Screen. This will/does go off the edge of the screen and IIRC always has done. _________________ Richard

If you want to watch yourself stay still and the map scroll, go into the menu, change preferences and select "turn off 3d display" you then get the options of "direction of travel at the top" or "North at the top". You then get the scrolling map along with instructions. The cursor stays in the middle and the map scrolls. |
