It was for a limited number of mobile phone/PDA devices I believe; see here for the limited number of devices that are supported. _________________ Phil |

Just to clarify this is my actual statement not the cutdown version quoted Quote: | it would appear that 6.030 is only for PDAs with external GPS receivers and not for those internal GPS recievers, can anybody clarify??? |
Phill your link is what made me originally search because I didnt have the time to verify whether those listed had integraql gps or not, what I found was that the general consensus on the web was as i stated i.e. 6.030 was for units with external gps, because we are talking ppc then we are talking Navigator6, from the answers so far it would seem it is still an open book |

It took me < 5 minutes to find that of the ones in the TT list, at least some of the HP iPAQ hw69xx models have integral GPS
e.g. hw6915. |

6.030 was needed for certain devices - eg Pocket Loox 600, whereby it would not recognize both SD and CF, and, I think (iirc) on this device, it would try and use an internal backup drive LooxStore as a removable device and go looking for maps there. There's a post somewhere on this forum about it. |
