iCN 320 Recent Trips Deletion

Hi everybody,
As a 75 year old newbie who has been given a Navman iCN320 please forgive me if I am appearing a little thick, but after struggling with a not very well composed instruction manual which more or less presumes you know allready how to work it, not even an explanation of the controls I have a small problem I would like help with.
Having sussed out how to basically use it I managed to delete all the previous owners favourites but cannot find how to delete page after page of recent trips, is this possible or am I stuck with them, even the previous owner can't help me.

Recents shouldn't be a big problem -- unit keeps track of only your last 30 trips so as you use the unit Recents done by the old owner will be pushed off the list by your new trips.
