Hi this is my first post. Great site and shall be paying many visits here.

I have a 2210 and am looking to get TomTom2 and a Bluetooth GPS receiver. I have seen this one on ebay and wonder whether it's a good deal. I have read elsewhere on here about concerns over the X7.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thumbs Up

Buying TomTom on eBay is very risky - you may end up with a copy that has all of it's registrations used up and you may have to wait half a year to be able to use it.

Talking in general terms and not making direct reference to the auction link above....

Buying software off eBay can be problematic for the reasons described above by lbendlin. Software that requires activation (like TomTom) will be worthless without the appropriate registration key so you need to be careful.

On the other hand, I bought a Fortuna Clip-On from eBay for £30 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else AND it was delivered next-day! Thumbs Up So eBay isn't evil, just use your head.

Iain.
