Hi..
I have substituted the inane standard speed camera warning sounds for some spoken warnings..
I would like to have the "Ding-Dong" sound before the spoken warning.
Can anyone tell me where I could get these sound effects from please ?
A link would be very much apreciated or pm me with details.

Thanks in advance,

Simon

A couple of questions:
1. Are these spoken warnings you're using, audio files (in ogg format) or typed in Text to speech?
If text to speech, I don't know of any way to add a sound effect to the front as well.
If they are audio files, then if you have access to a sound edit program, it is easy (but time-consuming) to add a sound to the front.
Many of the ready-made sets I prepared on the ".ogg files collection page" already have a siren or chime on the front.

2. Which model of TomTom are you using? (Only relevant if you're using text to speech)

3. Are you talking about a SPECIFIC "Ding-dong" (None of the default sounds on my TomTom are called "Ding-dong")
I have all the default sounds stored, or if it is one I've already used in one of the collections I will still have it.
Otherwise give me a clue where you heard it, and I'll do my best.

Hi Andy and a big thank you..
These ready done files you provided the link to are pretty much exactly what I was looking for..Especially the consolidated version.

I do have a wave editing program, but it looks like you have saved me a lot of messing about.
Once again, thanks for your very fast response mate.

Regards,

Simon
