|
|
Well, it seems that someone at Tomtom has a sense of humour. I was out and about on Sunday, and I asked the TTR2 to get me home by the shortest route. Several times, I found that this route involved going up an exit ramp and over a roundabout, only to rejoin the road I had been on!
Somebody please tell me that this is the kind of thing that gets fixed when I finally get the TTH software working, and it sends the latest updates to the device. Please...
Cheers,

This is why fastest is usually better. _________________ Richard

Same thing happened to me, when I had TT5, using fastest travelling on M25 towards Dartford Tunnel. If I was in lane 1 I was routed 'up and over' but not if in lane 2 or 3.
You may find it happens if the exit is on a left hand curve/bend as the 'up and over' appears to be shorter/faster but not on a right hand curve/bend.
That's my theory anyway. |

Just been out for the first ride with my new TT Rider, and very impressed!
However, as I have found with sat nav, they do make the odd stupid errors. Today, it tried to send me over a railway line from a dead end road, to get to the industrial estate on the other side!
Sorry, but nothing fixes all the glitches, but they are few and far between and overall, the Rider is a great piece of kit |
