does anybody know how to connect the nokia n95 to an external bluetooth gps?
ive paired the devices successfully but don't seem to actually connect and use the GPS in map mode. it seems to always use its own internal GPS which isnt as sensitive as my external device.
any help much appreciated! Laughing

I'm not sure if you can use an external GPS with the Nokia maps. I have TomTom and Garmin applications on my N95 and they can both use external GPS (the Garmin is tied to a Garmin GPS) but not the internal one.

If you look at the programme "GPS Data on your phone assuming it came bundled with the phone, then on the first screen with navigation, position and trip distance on it select options then positioning settings and then select bluetooth gps and then enable, it should then find your external gps then when you run nokia maps it will ask you if you want to connect via blue tooth
