Navman ICN520 route planning

Is there any way (or any software) that will enable me to view the maps in the SD card on my PC, plan routes and then transfer the routes / SD card back into my navman?

I am planning a tour of france & spain and would like to pre-plan a couple of routes prior to leaving blighty!!

Unfortunately the short answer is the same as the long answer : No.
