CAN ANYONE TELL ME CAN YOU UPGRADE THE NAVMAN ICN520 FROM 5 DIGIT POSTCODE SEARCH TO 6 DIGITS. AND A LINK TO A FREE DOWNLOAD PAGE IF POSS.

Hi Guys.

Just to let you know, I had this beef with Navman about two months ago.
When I finally got a reply they said there will be a 7 digit postcode facility in the next upgrade :D but that won't be out till July Crying or Very sad

(and you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be free either).

Just checked original e-mail from Navman and it says SmartST2006 will be available in June not July, as I just stated.

Do you not think that Navman (and many other Companies) just tell you what they think you want to hear??

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago about SmartST2006 as I am interested in upgrading from Version 3 to SmartST2005 and didn't want to have to pay out twice in a short period of time.

The reply I got was along the lines of "there are plans to release an upgrade at present, or indeed any name for a future upgrade"

So in other words, "pay your money and then we'll fleece you for more in 3 months time"
