Right - my 910 worked fine with my Orange SPV C550 right until i made the mistake of activating the "Safety preferences" to see what it did.

I couldnt deactivate "Safety" no matter what I tried (including using TT HOME). However, it did de activate when I made a call via hands free (wierd I know)

Now, when I connect phone, I get permanent green phone icon on top left of screen, and no voice commands. If I go to the phone screen, and press red phone, it drops the icon, phone stays connected but no voice commands. To get voice commands back I have to reconnect phone (that was already connected), and click on "Mobile phone audio", this disconnects the phone completely, and I get voice prompts back.

Speaker preferences in phone screen are both un ticked - is that right? TT not coonected to external speaker (which i presume means the radio)

Bluetooth advanced preferences are both ticked.

I've done both soft and hard resets, but I cannot get phone to connect "normally" anymore.

This is really hacking me off now.

Any ideas?

SPV is running WM2003
Tomtom version as per sig block.

Mike, I've tried your instructions in email re volume control, and still nothing.

Is there anyway of getting right back to factory shipped settings for the 910. Seems both "factory reset" and hard reset still leave bits of my data in the system.

Like a fool I didnt back up the system until after the "fault" started, although all i had done at up to that point was upload the speed camera database.
