Hi
I have been using my XDA Orbit as sat nav on my bike, but it takes a long time to set up and I need to install a mount. Also, cannot receive calls at the same time as using Sat Nav.
Has anyone tried the new rider yet, and does the headset allow you to dual connect to a phone and the sat nav?
Thanks for any advice |

Yes, the headset allows for audio navigation instructions and telephone calls, but it's actually the RIDER2 which has the dual connection, not the headset. _________________ Tim |

I have got the TT Rider V2, And I like it alot. The onley bad poing is that over 20 MPG i could not have a phone call, so £300 later I have a Blourtooth Nolan Helman, and I am realy happy Now. |

Thanks for the advice
I have ordered my TT Rider from GPS World, with a promise of delivery today.............................guess what nothing turned up!
Annoyed because I have a long trip tomorrow and wanted to fit it tonight.
Cannot even get a reply from their support, despite the fact that they were very prompt to reply before purchase!
Fitting it to a Yamaha Thundercat, so hope mount will work |

20 MPG, eh? I can use the 'phone at up to 40-50 mph before it gets unusable and I can hear the audio instructions at 70mph. In both instances I was using 'rhubarb and custard' earplugs. My helmet is an Arai Astro-R. _________________ Tim |
