Thanks very much for your reply. But perhaps you could just treat me as an idiot needing lots of hand-holding. I was told before (may even have been by you) that there were such examples and I have searched extensively for them (on multiple occasions) and only ever found one thread with one side-by-side screen-shot (which was not 100% clear that the two shots were both from latest WE and W&CE versions - and from memory it was possibly not even here but on another forum)

Which thread exactly are you referring to (exact title and date or URL would be appreciated) and does it contain chapter and verse examples (or screenshots) that TomTom cannot repudiate by saying "oh those may not be the same map versions" or some other such flannel?

You should see the various bits of flannel that they have already thrown back at me over this. The correspondence (dispute) has been going on for over a month so far, with many letters/emails to and fro and absolutely no recognition that a customer might have a legitimate grievance.

ok - idiocy over - I seem to have found the relevant thread at last - with links to pics.

I am actively taking on TT over this as I have been clearly misled - a clear offence under trades descriptions act - and I have written claims from TT that by implication these differences do not exist - that the mapping is identical!

I'll post the whole sorry story once it is resolved one way or the other. Meantime if anyone else has any evidence to add weight to my arguments, the more the merrier.
