The story so far:
Got TT ONE with map 660 but new map had come out.

Contacted TT and after proof they said would give me latest 675

But they put it on the wrong TT account (we have 3 TTs, Go etc in the family) and the download crashed.

After that they accused me of having the map i.e. activated.

After proving it was impossible due to dates they agreed they had made a mistake but were unable to organise another download so I should write to Amsterdam.

Did this and got a phone call that I would have latest map on the correct account for the TT ONE

It was put on the wrong account again.

This was corrected but the 675 was too big for the TT One memory card so they said I could have the equivalent with the new Congestion Zone boundary and Ferrybridge A1 update etc just for the GB so ti would fit.
Had to delete the 660 to make room (but did back up with TT Home)

Got the smaller GB version and downloaded but it says it is version 632.0

So is this equivalent to the 675 as far as GB mapping?

This has been going on for a couple of months now. I've sent a message to them asking but being Friday I most probably will not get a reply to Monday and I want to know the facts.
Thanks for any information.

v675 is the latest version of all current maps BUT you need to get a bigger SD card to load it. You should just about get it on a 256Mb but for the price difference you may as well buy a 512Mb card

Thanks. Yes I realised that, but TT said I could buy a larger card or they could give me an equivalent GB map (without European roads). I chose that option becasue I didn't need the European roads.

So what I would like to know, does the 632 have the same GB data as the 675 has i.e. is it as up-to date?
Thanks

This seems strange the earlier records of version 632 maps indicate them to be Plus maps - i.e. they should contain Major Roads of Europe, if you have been supplied a GB only version I am unsure as to how upto date this version actually is, check This Thread and note the dates when the vs 632 map was considered new? - Mike

Yeah, never heard of a 631. 632 were mostly Plus maps but 2 years old now!

So, to answer your question, NO BLOODY WAY is a 631/2 they're offering you anyway NEAR as up to date as the current 675!

Thanks. This is incredible. I had 660 a fairly up-to-date map - they said delete it and give me an old map. Beyond belief.
I will contact them. There incompetence is boundless.

Firstly sorry to mikealder - I missed your reply when I last responded.
vroomfondel - I had 214MB spare after deleting the 660 and lots of voices. The 632 just said GB and was about 200MB. I will see what their reply is. It could be that it is the same as 675 as far as GB is concerned. I did ask them for the map with the new bit of the A1 on. I will have a look at an internet map for the new road and see if it the same on the TT. Thanks all for the advice

Somethings amiss as the 632 does have foreign road on e.g. it can navigate from Madrid to Paris. I was told it was just GB. Anyway I don't want to waste anyone's time. I think I will buy a 512MB card and ask for the proper 675.

TT support were very apologetic and have now enabled me to get the full v.675 (252MB). I will have to buy a new card but hopefully this will be the end of the saga.

Not bad as you can get 512 SC cards from about £7 now
