When i go abroad will this service work? is the X just cause its not available in NI?

It would still poll for traffic updates in England, Wales, Scotland even if NI isn't supported. The 'X' suggest no connection, what device do you have?

And do you have Internet access on it? Who is your Service Provider and are you Contract or PAYG?

You must have GPRS Internet Access enabled to access Traffic, GPRS WAP or walled garden services (Three) will not work.

It won't work! O2 only offer GPRS Internet on their Contract accounts. I understand Orange offer it on PAYG but as it stands you won't be able to access Traffic.
