Map Swapping

I currently have the TT one V2 UK regional with a western Europe map purchased separately which I have activated and all works fine....I am thinking of getting the TT 520 when (if) released and wondered if my European map would work with the new unit and I don't want to pay more money for another European map when I already have one ???

Im sure this type of question would of been asked loads but I cant see any regarding this matter

any ideas

Thought I recognised this question!
as 46Jimbo and I say 'elsewhere', you can get a new activation code for an existing map after 6 months.

If you mean "will it work at all on the new models?" then I suppose there is no absolute guarantee until we actually get our hands on one (or the news embargo is lifted on those who've got one already!). But in the past, every old map has always worked on new machines, although any new features in the software that depend on a new map to work (such as the speed limit display introduced with v6 software and maps or MapShare with v7) probably won't function.

My guess is that it will work fine.
