Please help!
I've just downloaded a load of POI's from this site and have transferred to my sat nav. I have a HP iPAQ with TomTom software on it.
However I only get all POI's from 'A&E Hospital' to 'Bank of Scotland' and then from 'T-Mobile' to 'Zoo'.
Why dont all the POI's from 'Bank of Scotland' to 'T-mobile' be displayed? I've checked and they are definitely on the Sat Nav, they just wont show up in the POI list?!?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Tom Tom software (latest version) allows a maximum of 100 POIs. Count how many files with .ov2 extension you have in the map folder. If it's more than 100, there's your problem. And TT has a nice habit of being a bit random on what it decides to display when you've got too many!!
In that case, there are ways of overcoming it. Group/consolidate sets of POIs - e.g. group all the banks into one POI, petrol stations into one, rather than individual Esso, Shell etc.
Sit back and consider what POIs you really want (rather than having everything under the sun), then start again. _________________ Dennis

If it's TomTom version 5 (not 6) you don't even get 100 categories...
Just 39 (I think) |
