Using dumpov2 with version 6 POIs?

I'm trying to convert a custom POI file I made to a text file using dumpov2 (v1.2) but it doesn't seem to work on ver 6 POI files. Anybody know where I can get a more update to date dumpov2 utility?

UPDATE:

PoiEdit http://www.poiedit.com seems to be able to handle my .ov2 files and output text .asc files, though a simple command line utility would be nice to integrate with other programs.
