NUVI 350 Mount/Mounting on arm

Heelo folks,

I just bought my NUVI 350.

I am trying to get the round plastic ball point of the arm into the round receiver but it just will not fit. Crying or Very sad

I don't want to force it and break something.

I've looked at the instructions and you would think this just should snap into place but it does not.

I bought this from a national retailer so I am confident it should not be any wrong parts in there.

Am I supposed to snap out the black part in the female end of the reciever?

It's designed to be a fairly tight fit, as the ball mount has to hold the SatNav unit in the correct location whilst driving. It should just snap on, although I remember it being quite tough, and you certainly should not remove any bits from either part of the mount.

Thanks. That did the trick. Just did a big trip with my NUVI 350 and directions were awesome although the voice sure has a hard time pronouncing the word "county" and we have a lot of country rod with numbers out here. I've adapted to her announciation Rolling Eyes
