Just in case anyone else is having this problem. The speed camera files which come pre-installed by Tom Tom, come in three parts.
.ov2 files - the files containing the camera location data....
.bmp files - the corresponding icons for the ov2 files....
.ver files - corresponding to the above files and making them visible in 'HOME'
The data in the .ov2 files cannot be read with POI edit, so cannot be altered as as far as I can see and the accuracy is pretty poor, just like the other standard Tom Tom POIs.
The PGPSW files are far better and you can easily delete the pre-installed Tom Tom camera files using file manager or using 'HOME'. Keep them by all means for later use if needed. _________________ Tommo...

You learn something new every day, I never use their files so hadn't realised that they had a .ver file _________________ Darren Griffin

Actually, I have to correct myself on this one. It appears the .ver file only details the version number of the download. Deleting it alone does not make it disappear from 'HOME', it just means you cannot see the version of the download. Mine are version 433, but don't know what that means, i.e don't know how old they are. _________________ Tommo...
