I am in the process of buying a 08 plate Focus which has a Ford fitted Sat Nav as an option with the maps on a SD card, my question is can I put the speed cameras on to the SD Card or willI have to go down the Road Angel Road?
Thanks A |

Hi... If you look 6 posts further down from yours in the list, there's this one:
Ford Focus Sat Nav
Might be relevant!
And when you say "Road Angel", did you mean a radar detector or just any old Sat-Nav?
Radar detectors are quite likely to become illegal in the UK at the end of this year, and if you want a GPS-basedSat-Nav/camera locator, there are plenty of other manufacturers products to check out too! |

That may not be enough though. I understand that Road Angel will be releasing a firmware update for all units that will disable the Laser / Radar Detector should they become illegal. However not having the update and just switching the detector part off could still land you in trouble because it could be argued you were using it but only switched off when puled over... |
