To anyone who takes the time to read this.
I've just bought my first PDA(HP Jornada ce v3.0.9348 build 9616) What I would like help with is some advice on what the best gps program is to get.

I've tried HP and they only direct me to USA software. As I live in the UK dosnt help me much.

So what need is a system for gps and routeplanning in the uk with the abilaty to add global maps.

So here I sit not knowing where Iam and hopping for some guidance.

I can't remember the exact builds between Windows CE 3 and Pocket PC 2000, which Jornada do you have ?

If it's one running Windows CE 3 (PPC 2000 has similar version 3 numbers), then the only one that will really work would be TomTom Navigator because you will be using an SH3 processor. If you have a Jornada running PPC 2000 then you might be able to get other apps working providinig you are running an ARM processor.

The only easy way to sort this out is if the original poster gives the model number of his Jornada.

The build number is in the range used for Pocket PC 2000, and certainly this isn't a Pocket PC 2002 device, as the build number is too low.
