Classic - battery replacement

I have a TTGO - Classic and have noticed over the past few weeks that the battery seems to be nearly always in the orange when I switch on. It is permanently connected and charging whist in the car -- I was wondering if the batteries have a life span -- (I have had mine 3 1/2 years) I have had no problems -- and when I bring it indoors and stand it on my desk I can charge it pretty quick with the mains charger --(back to full green) -- but this don't last for long.

I have looked around and seen that there are places (on E-Bay) where you can get a battery... But I am NOT a techie person and having looked all over my TOM -- I simply wouldn't know where to start..

Is there any place out there that can provide the batteries ?
Explain how t do it? (in simple language)

Or the best for me -- do it !!! for me ...willing to pay of course..

All batteries have a limit to the amount of cycles (charge/discharge) they will cope with. Some battery technologies prefer a charge and then a full discharge whereas newer ones prefer to be constantly topped up but regardless, all will eventually expire.

The good news is SatNav Shop are a recognised TomTom repair outlet here in the UK and they can quite you for the supply and installation of a replacement battery, send them an mail via their contacts page here explaining the issue and your model of GO and they will reply with a quote.
