|
|
I am using COPILOT 6 on a Pocket PC, I have just installed a download for the UK so I have added the 67 files within a zip file to the Storage card and all is well (I think). However, next question is, when it comes to updating the download do I delete the files? they seem to have gone from of the storage card?! I did a comprehensive download when perhaps I should have just downloaded a more simple one, I don't need to know what speed is against the camera so how do I remove this download and replace it with another?
Last question is regarding the download and Europe. Is there a download which covers all of Europe. I have got the additional maps from purchasing the COPILOT 6 European upgrade so which camera download file should I download? |

what have you downloaded for cp6 the unzipped files should go in the SAVE folder on the sd card. when you start cp6 the files will dissapear fromt the folder as ov2 files as they will be takn in to the copilot database on the device
you'd need to edit it beforehand
which file set did you download _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I downloaded the 180kb zip file entitled 'pgpsw-speed-cams'. Inside the ziped file there are about 70 files, all of which have gone from the folder as you have described. So, questions, is this the best speed camera file for the uk? should I have downloaded the simpler file? how to I remove the files if I choose to in order to replace the camera download file with another one? and lastly, the European question, if I want camera locations in Europe do I download the file and place them into the folder as before or do I need to do something else?
Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated. |

1. Exit CoPilot
2. Delete all the files in the Save folder that have names matching AO*.*
3. Copy your desired .ov2 and .bmp files into the Save folder.
4. Start CoPilot.
Hope this helps. _________________ CoPilot Live 7, Fugawi Global Navigator, Pocket Streets, iPAQ 5550, GlobalSat BT338 GPS, Brodit Powered PDA mount, Jabra BT250 headset. |
