It would be useful if there was a full set of "dummy" zoned files (one for each camera type on a single stretch of road) that could be used to test all the warnings are set up correctly.
Useful yes, confusing probably.
That's actually a damned good idea Mullet. I think it could be done fairly easily, simply a bit of work creating the set - of 32 isn't it - no, 38? to include single file and consolidated by type. Would need to be a fairly long stretch of road to accommodate warning distances? And the memory to delete them before going live! (Don't suggest I do it - I'm not good at clever). _________________ Dennis

Just think about the instruction set to actually try this, replacement of upto 33 separate files with a "Test" set of data, and a route demo that would last ten miles plus - this would cause too many queries from newcomers to the site and is not viable to be honest.
We get sufficient queries with the existing installations - any test database would have to be deleted from the device prior to installation of the true database, some people would delete valuable files PRIOR to a back-up, not everyone has the experience to handle such a suggestion - sorry I cannot agree with this one - Mike

Well, there you go - ignorance is bliss. I just thought 38 POIs, pieceacake. Only difficulties giving them Long/Lat and same names as all the camera files. Never mind, I wasn't going to do it myself and didn't think it through well enough. _________________ Dennis
