h4155, Memory Map and Royaltek Bluegps compatiblity

I'm a U.S. user wondering if this hardware and software is compatible? I've read about the newer TT drivers "hijacking" the BT port. Can also use Memory Map? Does anyone use multiple gps softwares (including TT) using a BT gps receiver and an h4155 (or h4150) with success? I'm not the most technically savvy user and not very excited about adding/deleting code, constant soft resets, etc. thanks

The TomTom GPS driver does cause a problem, but it's not the actual GPS driver, it's what I call a fudge program TomTom have installed. This will block any other GPS using the standard Bluetooth GPS port on the iPAQ, but it will remap to a lower port which can be used in most cases. You can uninstall the fudge driver and TomTom will still work and so will all other applications.

From a compatibility issue, 99% of all Bluetooth GPS's will work with 99% of all applications. Providing the application doesn't lock you to a specific COM port or setting which most don't, you should be able to mix and match any GPS (including Bluetooth) to any application. The only one that does currently lock you is Navman's SmartST Pro.
