Havn't seen anything. Last mention of it was about beginning of April. I suspect that it is not a priority with Navman as the N and F range seems to have taken over from the iCN 5** range Crying or Very sad

You could try emailing their store. They usually respond quickly, though not necessarily with the answer you are looking for.

With prices steadily falling, it could make sense to buy one of the N** devices and sell off your 520 Idea

Its a shame really, i think the 520 is a great little unit. It does everything i need, if only it had full postcode search. Its not a massive issue, but it would make programming it alot easier and more accurate imo Sad

I feel the same about my 520. I wish they'd update things, though.

Maybe they don't want to Exclamation It would make business sense to a company not to update an ageing model with the idea that the customers would buy a later model, but I'm sure Navman would not do anything like that Rolling Eyes Would they Question

You're right, Robert Embarassed I deserve to be severely castigated for such an idea. Stop it!

I don't believe that Navman will offer an update for the 520 now.

With my ICN 530, I keep thinkin there's got to be some hack or software (buy) out there that would update my maps or my OS.

Gee, I contacted TeleAtlas like you suggested, and I'm impressed that I got an immediate reply. But it was bad news (see below) Crying or Very sad I still wonder if I have any options at all, short of upgrading the whole unit. I'm tired of people suggesting that I sell it and get a new one. It is only a year old.

Thank you for your E-mail and your interest in Tele Atlas products.

Please refer to navman.com for your inquiry. Tele Atlas does not provide USA products for the Navman systems.

In case you have any additional remarks or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards
