I want one thats got good up to date maps, I have TomTom on there at the mo but reading about the latest map up dates and some even going backwords its a nightmare.

Anyway who could be as good? maybe better? I have an N73 by the way

Have you considered looking at Route 66, although all the manufacturers use mapping data from one of two companies, that said it is up to the nav unit manufacturers to pick what level of detail they want to include in any map release. Data can be left out to get the total file size down in order that the resultant map fits on an economic sized memory card - Mike

is there anyway to find out what level of detail each manufacturer uses?
