"Loading maps" fail to start nuvi 660

Hi
I loaded some new POI into my nuvi 660 (ca 21400)
Now it starts with the splashscreen and then say "loading maps"
and if no power, it switches off and with power, just loading maps.
I have tried all the hards, soft resets but this has not improved things.
The problem is the pc does not see device as a drive.
I have tryed Pre-boot and press reset , then i get "system software missing" then the PC see's the device, but i can't flash it.

Have run a pre-boot one's more and now i'm back to "loading maps"

And put them on an SD card next time, it seems to solve most of the problems.
