hi i have been trying to connect a gps receiver to my nokia 6630 but have not been successful...the device has been paired with my phone but does not seem to have an active connection via bluetooth...i have used the holux 236 and nikkai gps receiver (comaptible with smart phones)..please help with this as i would like to get connected. i am using tomtom mobile 5 software and it is running perfectly from my phone.

no havent got connected yet! wat gps receiver should i buy and where from? i rely dont know wat is wrong. |

Hi I got my set up recently its tt5 mobile and a holox BT-321 I got off ebay @ £15.00
This is what I done
Inserted the already tt5 card into phone 6680 Turned on phone and installed tt5 turned on my holux outside house even though will see sats from inside but not perfectly Went to preference 4 of 5 in preferences (show GPS status) next configure!_ choose other bluetooth GPS should show your holox or your gps receiver click on it Wait for it to search sats
The holox operates on 32 sats but only a few can be seen a any one time I am indoors now and its picking up 7 and now 3 Once established I found that I can then set up route from inside the house Also once it is working and you are finnishred make sure to exit program using tt exit as it will eat up battery life!! I hope this help? What gps and phone are you trying at the moment Let me know what happens

Hi the holux 236 should be okay as I beleive its the daddy to the holox bt 321 and the phone 6630 is the same spec as the 6680
