I am thinking of upgrading my Garmin, the i3 is hard wired into tha car electrics (still using the original plug) When I pass on my old unit to my brother can I just swap leads? |

The Nuvi range use a mini usb connector, I don't believe this is the connector used by the i3, but if it is, then it will work fine. _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |

Sorry, I should clarify this - this is true for the Nuvi 300 you mention, but other newer models in the range use a different connector, which is definitely not compatible with the i3. _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |
