tom tom onto 95900 card size

forgot to say it the australian maps i am trying to load on,but looking at the maps sizes on the link i have no chance fitting them on this 256 card.

The Sensis version 13 map of Australia is 88MB so it will fit on the 256 card, if you want UK as well then you might consider a 512MB or 1GB card as the prices these days are cheap - Mike

Thanks for that Mike,I can't seem to load the tom tom 5 onto the medion,been following the posts on the site but no joy,do you know how to do it? Seems easy enought but afer trying 6 times its begining to lose its appeal.

How far have you got unlocking the Medion? - have you got the desktop on view and working as yet.

Please note unlocking the device in this way will invalidate your waranty, so if it goes wrong you could end up with a non-functional device. - Mike

Got the 3 short cuts on the desktop,loaded the tom tom acording to the posts on here ,it shows up on the medion on the program but wont work.

You should note that the 95900 will take a 1gb SD card max. Also, some SD cards don't work with this unit. You will be OK with a Sandisk Ultra II SD card though, as I have tried and tested that one. You may have problems with some Kingston and PDQ cards though, plus others that I haven't tried.
