Checkpoint 6 doesn't remember POI selection

Setup:

Medion PPC (Mitac Mio 168 clone)
WM2003
Tomtom 6.02
Checkpoint 6.00
UK and Rep of Ireland map

Problem:

Every time I go to synchronise my POIs using Checkpoint, it doesn't remember anything about the last sync. I have to manually re-select country, then all of the checkboxes for the POIs are empty - if I click sync nothing happens because nothing is selected. I have to manually go into every category and select the POIs I want to sync, EVERY TIME that I want to sync.

Surely this isn't correct, I am sure that when I used to sync the previous settings were remembered.

Anyone any clues?
