TTN6 on Palm and Traffic connection problems

Just thought I'd add my 2p worth as I have had problems with Traffic connections via GPRS on my Palm Tungsten T3.
To set up TT traffic:
Set up a bluetooth connection to your phone using the Phone Link wizard
Use the connection you created and the service (ie Orange GPRS) from your GPRS provider in the Communications section of "Prefs"
Activate TT traffic from within the program (either using your user/pass or the trial user/pass)

then if after connecting sucessfully for a while you have connection problems on a red splash screen ("could not connect to the Tomtom server, check your internet connection") try resetting the Palm (using the reset button on the back). After trying to tweak all the connection settings on the Palm and on the phone, (as the program suggests) it appears my problems are caused by something on the palm which is cured by the reset. The connection problems often started for me after cancelling the Palm trying to initialise GPRS. So I now always clear the route after arriving, make sure the phone is on before powering the Tomtom, and make sure the GPS receiver is warmed up before powering the unit up, and can now connect without problems.
