Detecting Speed Cameras on one side only

Hi, does anyone if it is possible to configure the speed camera POI so it only warns me when the camera is on my side of the road? - as opposed to warning me about cameras on both sides of the road.

Just a little plea - if you post links to threads, please trim off the sid element if it's present in the URL - literally cut it off the end of the URL, ending before the &sid

The sid is the session ID for your session. If someone else clicked on the URL quickly enough, it's possible they could start browsing in your current session - maybe even post replies as you (though I don't know whether additional elements are used for validation, particularly your IP address).

The bigger problem is that clicking a link containing an SID can lead to various session related weirdness. If someone else clicks a link that contains an sid, it's not then possible to post a reply even if that user was logged in when they clicked the link - because the linked thread isn't brought up in their session. If a link is clicked that contains an sid, you can finish up inadvertently closing all windows in your main session - which can leave you with the situation where the forum software has already updated the time of your last visit in its database and you can't then go back to view threads since your last visit that you hadn't read.

Indeed, if the original poster clicks a link containing an sid element, they'll probably find that the session has expired.

Thanks for taking my comment in the spirit in which it is meant. Posting links isn't the easiest thing to learn how to do - and I'm grateful when people do post links, as it saves a lot of searching around to find information.

Agreed!

I usually 'hide' the URLs of links I post in that way unless there's a particular reason why I want the address itself to be visible.
