[that should really really rankle with a yorkshire man :P ]

Nothing rankles me. I tolerate anything - unless you drive a black VW Golf and wear a baseball cap on back to front and play loud thumpy thumpy music (which I wouldn't put it past a low Lancastrian).

Don't expect to get a free membership out of a Yorkshire camera - tha'll never get up early enough, lad!! Me Me Me Laughing

hee hee, just been on the map and it's awaiting removal. But the camera is definitely still there?

Question How do you tell if it's awaiting removal Question Do you mean the ones which

by any chance Question A removed one is probably not wanted back in - maybe it was removed because it was shown in the wrong place? Maybe it needs reporting in the right place?

Yes thats what I mean Dennis. I've been on google earth and on the map on the report camera page and it is in the position marked so I'll do what Mike suggested and report it as definitely being there.

just need to work out how to use the lat long bit :-(

If it's definitely the one with a red cross (zoom right down on it to make sure it's just the right spot and just the right type and speed of camera) you don't need the lat long bit. Click on the camera icon itself and at bottom left of map it will say the camera's ID (e.g. Gatso:12345@60). Put that number (12345) into the box for ID and mark the Action box "Change existing camera", then in the Details box write about it being still there and shouldn't be removed. Seems odd that a removed camera would get back in (here's me saying that - there have been at least two Gatsos near me which were removed for a month or two but have since come back again!!)

Not a road I use very often Dennis, so I can't say if it has been removed and re-erected, but have checked and re-checked the location before submitting it.

Thanks for the help [again] :-)

We don't have a specific 'off topic' forum but we do have beginners and advanced GPS lounge foums which would be the best place to chat Smile
