send maps from mapsource to nuvi 310 problem

hi everyone,

I've come across a minor problem in that when I try to load maps send maps from mapsource to the internal memory on my nuvi 310 the software just reports back that there's a problem connecting to my device. Strange thing is if I select the SD card it works fine. I seem to have about 130mb of memory spare on the nuvi and am only trying to send a map of about 16mb.

I don't know whether it's connected or not, but the gtart software comes up with a similar message.

would appreciate any help you guys can provide please.
