Thanks mikealder,
the "mobile_var" and "pmobile_var" are out now, so thats magic, and i have taken on board about ticking or unticking the "Warn ONLY if POI on Route" check box selected or not for each Camera POI file, that was something else that may contribute to unwanted alerts when theres nothing there, (or at least when you don't see them)

I really shouldn't interfere any more, but I'm an old man.

Another thing worth noting is you have a lot of POIs which (and I'm no POI freak, so I may be wrong) you could combine so as to have fewer categories. For example, you have several individual fuel stations (ASDA, Jet, Murco, Shell, Q8, Tesco). From what I've heard, you could combine these into a single category - does it really matter which brand?. I see on the POI download it looks like you can select those individual stations, BUT for the download tick the box to have them combined into just one Fuel category. If this is true (and feel free to smack my legs if I'm wrong), that would reduce the number of POI categories you have and increase the number you can add. I presume to achieve this you'd delete the present ones from your device and redownload the combined category.
