Nuvi Firmware 3.50 problems

I upgraded the firmware in my nuvi360 from version 3.40 to v3.50. The Webupdater also loaded new firmware for bluetooth and for the traffic module. Since then I encountered a number of problems, including

Lock-up
If a text message arrives while navigating and the MP3 player is active the screen will show the [Read] [Review] [Ignore] buttons, but pressing any except [Ignore] results in the nuvi locking up. It won't even power-off unless I pull the plug out of the cigar lighter. Sometimes I have to reload all the POIs afterwards also.

Traffic News
The GTM12 unit fails to acquire information for long periods. It used to display data almost immediately - now it can take an hour or longer - not much use on shorter journeys.

What is the recommended way of switching back to v3.40 (I have the code on my PC)?

For that matter, where can I get previous version of the GTM12 firmware?

There is a Garmin firmware archive Here

It is not possible (as best I know) to downgrade the GTM12 firmware within the unit - there is a new v4.00 due out any day which may resolve the problems you are having with it.
