Problem with current speed cameras download

I have a garmin streetpilot c310. Ive downloaded a speed camera database and run it successfully before using the poi loader, but Ive just downloaded the newer one as the old one was way out of date.
Ive installed it (apparently successfully according to the message on screen, ) but it doesnt detect any of the cameras it used to as i drive by them, and has brought up some alerts where there is no camera!
Ive reverted to the old one I archived, but need to know if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I downloaded the single file database in IE and installed using POI loader, and even re downloaded a new copy of POI loader to no avail.

Any clues?

Ensure that you have Proximity Alerts turned on in the units settings

yes Proximity alerts is on , I checked that, but still nothing.
Ive loaded the old one back on, but so far have seen no alerts, although havent seen many cameras either.

What type of file / extension should it be??

Garmin streetpilot c should be csv files
