postcodes

Anyone know if I can set a postcode for an address in England while not in England or do the postcodes only work for England and Holland if your in that country itself.

The answer to your question is - Yes. (For units with the European map)

Are you sure RQ? I thought I'd read that you *couldn't* do this any more (with v6 maps or maybe v6 software).

I'm sure I've read somewhere on here that you have to go to Address, Street, Postcode on TTN6.

But I think it now only shows UK postcodes while ypu are in the UK and Dutch postcodes when in the Netherlands.

There are 2 ways to trick it.

1. Use HOME to Set a Current Locations wherever you want.

2. Do a short Demo of a Route in whichever Country, and then do what you require.

One proviso. Don't get a GPS Fix.;)
