SD-Card not in device box

Hi
further to my last post a bit earlier "Garmin StreetPilot i2 purchased in USA"
When I use the mapsouce cd to load maps I only get my device showing in the Device box and the drop down menu does not show my SD-Card in the unit I have looked at an aticle on your forum and found the folling info how do I get it to show my SD-Card

(You should see your unit in the ‘Device’ box, if you have an
SD-Card in the side of the unit
then you can access this by selecting the down arrow on the
right hand side of the ‘Device’
box, you will then get a drop down menu with the option to
select the SD-Card that is inserted
in the unit at the time (that’s if you have one to use). Once
you are happy you have selected
the memory you want to use, press the ‘SEND’ button and it will
begin to transfer the mapping, this may take some time depending on how much mapping you are sending onto the unit.)

assuming that the i2 is literally just an i3 but with monochrome screen then you can't use the slot as a card reader.

you will need to get a transflash (micro sd) to sd card convertor and then use an sd card reader to install them
