I have found 2 files:

Without being ungracious I think other people found the congestion charge files for you on Friday last week.

You now ask which is best - personally I do not know but perhaps you could consider letting the forum have some feedback and advise the forum which is best.

The ogg file warning is one of your own choice - just ensure the sound file you use has exactly the same spelling as the congestion charge file and is located in the same directory - the map folder. Or is it that you want a file to talk specifically to you and say "Congestion zone" - I am uncertain.

Regards

I humbly apolgise, but I was not being ungracious. everyone has been extremely helpful to me. Currently I am NOT in the UK by arriving back on Friday and was trying at short notice to get my ONE set up. I was asking (hopefully politely) which one was the better to install and also for the OGG File that says Congestion Zone Ahead or something like that.

Sorry again, if I caused any inconvenience to anyone.
But I am fullyaware and extremely grateful to everyone that has helped me.

Duffer,

Apology accepted - the written word is such a difficult beast to control - one (the royal one) has to express oneself so carefully. And I struggle.

Anyway..........the files.

I don't know which would be best but here are some suggestions:-

1. Use the largest of the files - hopefully that one would have the most data in it.

2. Use both files. Set them up with slightly different warning distances e.g.
600m and 400m. And, with different sounds e.g. a moo and a bell.
If you hear a bell and no moo then it might be telling you which file is the more accurate.

When you get back to the UK get hold of POIEdit and merge the 2 files together, removing duplicates, and then you will have the best possible file. And, if whilst driving around London you noticed a point of entry not included in the files you could add this at the same time.

Also, obtain a copy of Audacity (free sound recording software) and record your own sound file saying exactly what you want (could be questioning the birthright of a mayor?) in ogg format.

And if you have any questions or problems in the future...............please ask.

Regards

The larger file might have more errors in it, too. For instance, one I looked at had my data (including my creative spelling in places) but had added more entry points, some of which you would have to drive off a flyover to make use of!

I'm not sure I'd want my data merged with that one!
