Mio C710: Spontaneous soft reset after Miosync update.

I did a Miosync update on my 710 at 09:30 GMT today 28/02.
On completion the unit immediately did an unrequested soft reset.
I have not seen this happen before.
Has this occurred with other people?
If so, might it be significant?
I cannot as yet detect any change in the working.
Does anyone know if the Miosync updates may also be being used to update software, in addition to data?
