TomTom 5 On Ipaq 3600 problems

Hi I am having a problem installing tomtom 5 on a ipaq 3600, tomtom installs but nothing else happens, if I go into the navigator folder under programs its empty.


Any help would be great

How are you doing the installation?

I had TT5 on a iPaq 3660 and I did the install from the CD.

Install the application first then install the map(s) you want. It should leave a TomTom icon on the Today screen on your PDA -and also in Start/Programs.... You shouldn't need to go hunting about the PDA to find it.

When you start it up you will have to go to [url]www.ttcode.com [/url] to unlock the maps.

The fact that you can't find anything in the folder you describe would suggest that the installation failed at some point. Try to uninstall TomTom 5, soft reset the iPaq and try again.

It wouldn't harm to download the 5.21 kit from the TomTom site - this is just the application - no maps.
