Can't install TomTom Nav 6

Hi

I've just bought TomTom Navigator 6 with maps of western europe on DVD. I am trying to get the software and maps on to my SD card so that I can launch TomTom on my HP iPAQ hw6915.

I've manged to put all the maps on to the sd card (using a card reader, btw) and I've got the voice on there. But when I try to install the application it never appears in the right-hand pane. So, not surprisingly, when I put the card back in my iPAQ I can't find the TomTom programme so therefore can't open it and activate software. I'm probably doing something daft but I have no idea what. Can anyone help?

I never had this trouble installing CoPilot!

Are you installing from the DVD? It's probably the easiest way to do it.

When installing the application from the PC it will copy the appropriate CAB file to your device then execute it. During this phase it will prompt you (on PDA) to install the app to either internal memory or card. This will also ensure the memory card has the correct bits on to launch TT when you insert the card.

For what it's worth I find that installing it onto my AXIM doesn't take up much memory.
