Beginner Log File Conversion: Mapopolis

I am a brand new user and am having a hard time figuring out exactly how to get my log file from Mapopolis converted into a standard/universal format (GPX for instance) to be imported into Google Earth. I have played around with gpsBabel but the converted data shows up as a bunch of POI's in the middle of the indian ocean, rather than as waypoints at a local state park in Massachusetts. Anyone done this that can walk me through the process?

most probably you only mixed up latitude with longitude. Also, on our side of the pond longitudes tend to be negative. Give it another wiggle.
