Loading Europe Map AND UK map on TomTom go

Hi,

I have the original Tom Tom GO.

Ive just installed a 1Gb SD card and transferred the files on the old SD card to the new one and everything works fine.

Now..... in addition to the UK maps, I want to add the Major_roads_of_Europe map onto the SD card AS WELL. the software seems to suppor this as there appears to be an option to "manage maps" on the device.

However if i load the Europe maps onto the device using the original CD (which TomTom Home doesnt recognise!) then my TomTom ONLY shows the European roads.

Using my computer i can see the UK data is still on the device but the software doesnt seem to know this....

Any suggestions as to how to make the device see BOTH sets of maps?

Which Version of the Software are you using?

Are you talking about the new V6 UK Map? Or an older Map?

You speak of the Major Roads of Europe. Are you referring to the original V3xx MRE?

Device = tom tom go
software version = 6.140
UK map = latest version
Major_roads_of_europe = the map supplied on first release of TTGO CD (i.e. they came with the TTGO and were free but the original SD was too small to hold UK and Europe) whether this was the V3 MRE i dont know...

The Software version should probably be V6.150. The latest is 6.520 or 6.522

If you have bought the GB and Republic of Ireland Maps, it already has the Major Roads of Europe combined with it.

Manage Maps has always been available in every version of TT, even if you only have 1 Map installed.

Are you sure that you are not in the GB Map still, but need to Zoom out further to see GB?
