nuvi 300..can't sometimes find satellites..period.

Hi, I seem to have a prob with my Nuvi 300...(only a few months old.second one & never had the same glitches with my original one)...

Anyway....Firstly it's been working fine until the last month, but on two occasions now I've turned it on first thing in the morning..ie..happens from fresh "boot" only so far, & it tries to acquire satellite, but cannot pick anything up...the satellite screen shows absolutely nothing, & I also tried to leave it on for half an hour...still nothing...tried rebooting numerous occasions when turned off for a while..still nothing....then on one occasion it decided to pick up again...

I've generally been updating the software..dunno if that's got anything to do with it...also, another odd thing it's doing is sometimes I'll turn it on, it'll go to the general screen (as normal) & then it'll flash for a fraction of a second "updating gps software" (along those lines)..it also doesnt ask me if I want to update the software anymore after I've just ran the update. (altho the version number does change)

Any ideas?? cheers in advance...Andy
