Hi all,

I've bought a TomTom One v2 and wondered if it's possible to have "Just alerts" for POI's and not have any voices switched on for directions - if you know what I mean !

Any help (or files) would be gratefully received

Steve

Download and install the silent voice files from HERE select it from within Change Preferences and you will only get POI alerts assuming they are correctly configured for beeps, bells or even spoken alerts if you have loaded them - Mike

Excellent - Thanks

Apart from the little "clicks" just as the "voice" would normally start it works a treat.

Hi harrismail
Mikes suggestion is one way of doing it but I found that it messed up the speed cam warnings. What I have now done is take
1 Make sure you have at least one other voice installed
2 Take card out and using a card reader delete the voice files you don't need
3 replace card and start tomtom
4 Go to change voice and choose the voice that you have deleted(it should be greyed out)
5 Tomtom will tell you that you have not chosen a useable voice
6 Try it (No directions but poi warnings and no problem with the speedcams)

I read someone here that all you need to do is select a "greyed out" voice.
